This is really generous and wonderful of you: thank you! I am especially excited to check out the Body Language Bible. That's a really cool concept.
I'm new to your newsletter, but I think it's so neat that, just last week, your name came up in an online writing workshop I'm in (12-week flash novel mastermind with Nancy Stohlman-love her!). Two fellow writers in that course are taking your current revision course. Love how tight-knit the flash writing community seems to be. And now I'm even more interested in taking one of your classes as well!
Hope the resources are useful. I often refer to the body language bible myself. A useful starting point to think about how people might act in any emotion. Thanks for signing up for the newsletter - it would be great to work with you on a course at some point in the future. Hopefully be starting those up again at some point in the new year.
Matt, your resources are awesome! And can I just say, being neurodivergent (woman with Asperger's), the two emotion lists are so helpful in life. So many things I just did not know. It's very generous of you to share, freely, such great resources, that must have taken a lot of effort to put together. Can't thank you enough.
As you know, I'm a fellow trudger along the weary road of chronic illness, and the last few weeks have been particularly awful. Am so grateful for my writing at such times, though brain fog is making it especially difficult. A wise friend of mine shared some old Hasidic wisdom he recently came across, in the form of three little words: 'So be it.' I've found the phrase to be a fast-track to acceptance, which doesn't mean I'm happy with how things are, only that I'm allowing them to be. In removing my resistance, I can find a little peace and let go of 'I should be able to...' or 'I used to be able to...' You know what I mean, I'm sure.
Thanks for all the lovely freebies, it's so very kind and decent of you! Lots to discover among them, and I'm sure they'll prove to be a valuable resource in my craft!
Thanks, Jennifer. Love that as a mantra. "So be it. So be it. So be it." It's so true. If we can't change things then it's generally much better to accept and move on than to use up what little energy we have on bitterness or regret. Hope your own illness isn't being too problematic at the moment - you achieve so much brilliant stuff in spite of that. You're very welcome for the resources - a real pleasure to put these out into the world.

Matt, Thank you for your generosity. Feel better ❤️🩹
Thanks, Margo. Hope the resources are useful.
Thanks for all these resources, Matt. Really useful and very kind of you to share them all.
Great to know they're being used. Hope your writing is going well.

That's lovely to hear Jackie. Hope the resources are useful - it makes me happy that people are using them and getting something out of them.
Hang in there, Matt!
